New Identity for Retail Startup

88 recently partnered with renowned interior design firm Suzanne Lovell, Inc. to create an identity for Alice’s Table—their new retail startup brand.

Alice’s Table currently lives online as a lifestyle advice website where like-minded 20-somethings can share thoughts and ideas about everything from design and home décor to cooking, health and beauty tips, and more. Eventually, the brand will extend across a product line composed of high-end pieces at affordable prices.

Since the central figure of Alice’s Table is Alice, an expert in lifestyle advice, we designed a logo inspired by pottery and porcelain marks from the 19th century. It conveys a feeling of expertise and ownership. And we selected a color palette that’s fresh and youthful, but still very refined.
